Valdobbiadene

Valdobbiadene  is a town in the province of Treviso, Veneto, Italy. Valdobbiadene is a wine growing area. Just below the Alpine areas of Veneto. This area is the home of Prosecco 

It is a unique and unparalled territory. The grapes grow on the beautiful hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, a unique and remarkable place. the particular composition of the soil, the lie of the land and the rolling hills and valleys which are blessed with a favourable climate influenced by the mountains and the sea, all contribute to making an intensely aromatic Prosecco with a distinctive and elegant flavour. 

The area is characterize by gentle hills that mainly run from North to South. The elevation goes from 60-70 m to the 270 m.

The slopes are never eccessively steep and only in some cases they exceed the limit of 40-50 %. The vineyard are collocated on the top of the hills or on the sunniest slopes, leaving the north facing and steeper slopes to the woods.
